For those looking for a short trip, Singapore is another lovable option for a perfect weekend getaway. The aesthetics of its architecture, food, and its man-made ability to blend the city seamlessly with nature make it a must-visit destination. Plus, Singapore offers a plethora of Instagram-worthy spots that will make your snaps appear popular on the explore page.
? Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI), Singapore

The Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI) building stands out with its rainbow-colored windows totaling more than 927 panes, which instantly brighten up this old building. Look closely and you’ll see floors 1-4 are painted with the same level of intensity, while floors 5 and 6 have a higher level of intensity, which is what gives this building a unique architectural feature like no other.
❤️ ?????’? ???: Situated at the corner of the street, this building allows us to take pictures from both sides. One side will have a fence in the middle of the road, while the other side does not. It depends on personal preference. Be careful of traffic when standing in the middle of the road to take a picture!
? Water Lily Pond: Garden by The Bay, Singapore

Another popular photo spot, Garden by the Bay is another up-and-coming tourist hot spot that captures the beautiful Marina Bay Sands building and Supertree Grove, which are iconic landmarks of Singapore. Don’t miss it!
❤️ ?????’? ???: You can walk up to the rock in the picture to get a snap but you have to wade through knee-deep water to get there. Shorts or a skirt that can be lifted up are recommended.
? Jewel Changi Airport, Singapore

Jewel Changi Airport is one of Singapore’s landmarks that tourists can experience as soon as they land from their flights. The highlight here is what’s called the Rain Vortex, an indoor waterfall that is 40 meters tall and passes through all seven floors of this mall, making it the world’s tallest indoor waterfall.
❤️ ?????’? ???: Weekends see a lot more people than weekdays. Spare some time for a walk to find your best photo spot.
? Fort Canning Park Tunnel, Singapore
? https://goo.gl/maps/PdDaGosEpXj1iKey9
Well-known to Thai Instagrammers, here is the Spiral Staircase at Fort Canning Park. This spot features a spiral staircase leading up from an underpass to the park. It’s a favorite location for pre-wedding photography among Singaporeans, making it a crowded area.
❤️ ?????’? ???: We recommend you use a wide-angle lens on a camera or mobile phone to take photos during around 10:00-11:30 a.m. because the light will start to shine through the trees. However, it’s also a popolar time so you might need to wait for nearly an hour to snap a shot. To get there, take the MRT to Dhoby Ghaut station and walk along Penang Road towards the Fort Canning Park sign. The entrance is in the form of a tunnel. If you happen to see a long queue inside the tunnel, it’s safe to say that it is a string of tourists waiting to take photos.
? Art Science Museum, Singapore

The Art Science Museum is another hot landmark in Singapore that houses many interesting exhibitions. One not-to-be-missed exhibit is the Future World, which combines technology and human interaction to create art. When we visited Future World, there were two zones open.
1. City in A Garden: The first thing that catches your attention is the computer-generated (CG) art installation that interact with the people around it. You can take pictures, play with the fun lights, and walk a bit closer to the aquarium-like cabinet with strange-looking aquatic creatures swimming inside. Here, we can draw our own version of aquatic creatures, then scan them and see them come to life as if swimming in this cabinet.
2. Crystal Universe: This zone is totally worth an Instagram-worthy shot (if not, shots!). With more than 170,000 LED lights, it creates a reflection of the stars in the universe. Everything you see and hear in this zone will make you feel amazed. Don’t miss it!
❤️ ?????’? ???: Buy tickets online in advance so you don’t have to queue on the day when it’s crowded. If you buy a ticket in advance, you can enter and exit multiple times throughout the day. You can leave to have a meal and then come back in again. To get there, take the MRT to Bayfront station and walk or pass through Marina Bay Sands mall to get to the ArtScience Museum.
